It’s time for another installment of our favorite Japanese game show: Crazy dudes in insect costumes performing ridiculous stunts before bad-breathed female spiderwoman belches in their face!

This episode sees the contestants scootering through a tunnel of styrofoam walls. Touch the wall and you FACE THE PAIN. Seriously, who comes up with this stuff?

The punishment for failure, is a common theme in Japanese game shows. It is known as ‘batsu-game’ which literally means penalty game. This usually involves doing or experiencing something very unpleasant.

Believe it or not, this is a WEEKLY GAME SHOW in Japan. It’s shown just after primetime and it rates very well. Although physical comedy based game shows like this are common in Japan, the spandex insect costumes take this to another level.

   I love these strange Japanese game shows.
   I wish we had more like them in america.
